My husband and I wanted to give our daughter her first 'real' piece of jewelry for her 5th birthday early this year (2009). I asked Linda to design a girl's bracelet using my daughter's favorite colors, pink and purple. I was thrilled to be handed a beautiful, delicate and sturdy enough bracelet for a 5 year old to wear regularly. Our daughter loves the bracelet and wears it for all occasions. I first saw Makana Jewelry at a Festival in Glen Rock, NJ. The white tent and purple colors drew me into a beautiful display of necklaces, earrings and more. When it seems the latest fad is big beads and gems, I was looking for something dainty and feminine, and Linda's designs were perfect. I feel in love with a pair of earrings and asked Linda custom design hoops to go along with them. After e-mailing her design to me, I ordered them and received them a few days later.
